Art in the Hotel

Opening its doors in October 2009, Boscolo Milano is the seventh example of a historical building restoration performed by the Boscolo Group. The façade and curved architecture of this ancient building, home to the Banca Imi offices, have remained almost completely intact, with the interior spaces remaining faithful to their form. The elements constituting the "scenic design" are a metaphor rich in expressive, cultural and historical references, which together create a unique space for meeting, socialisation and artistic communication.
It is a location accustomed to hosting art exhibitions, in addition to the art shows organised in the city's museums. The Hotel also houses a Museum Hall, and some suites boast works by masters such as Sironi and Fontana, stand-out exponents of the Milanese artistic lifestyle.
Boscolo Milano represents the first great "permanent installation" of Expo 2015, the work of Milanese architect Italo Rota.
